Bio:
Yuseph David Zapata Lamir, a graphic designer and artist from Cartagena, Colombia, has been creating art since he first held a pencil. His passion for expression led him to a career in graphic design and eventually to founding his own creative agency, where he discovered that his true artistic calling was blending traditional art with modern mediums. His distinctive style bridges the gap between canvas and digital, gallery and street, featuring his iconic character, Palometa the Pigeon. Through Palometa, Yuseph transforms everyday moments into joyous works of art, merging playful street art elements with the sophistication of fine art.
Yuseph’s works have been displayed across physical and digital spaces globally, from Bogotá and Miami to NYC, Tokyo, and beyond. A highlight of his career was seeing his Palometas grace the screens of Times Square, bringing a touch of Colombia’s vibrant culture to one of the world’s largest stages. His work is a celebration of daily joy, and his pigeons, much like his art, transcend borders and conventions.
