Open Call Guidelines

How to Apply for the Open Call

We invite artists from all backgrounds and levels of experience to submit their work for consideration. Our exhibitions span a variety of themes, mediums, and styles, providing a platform for both emerging and established artists. Guest curators carefully curate each exhibit from the art world, bringing a unique perspective and expertise to every show.

Open Call Submission Guidelines

  • Deadline for Submission: Varies by exhibition (see specific dates below).
  • Themes: Each exhibition has a unique theme (detailed below).
  • Accepted Mediums: Painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art.
  • Size Restrictions: Artwork should not exceed 3.5 feet in width by 7 feet in height for individual spaces.
  • Submission Fee: $25 per artwork submission. Fees are non-refundable and help cover the cost of the review process.

Open Call Selection Process

Our panel of curators, including our guest curator for each exhibition, reviews all submissions. Please note that while we encourage all artists to apply, selection is not guaranteed due to the high volume of submissions. Chosen artists will be required to pay a participation fee of $395.

Exhibition Limitations

To maintain a focused and engaging display, no more than 19 pieces (including both paintings and sculptures) will be accepted per exhibition. This ensures that each work receives the attention it deserves in our thoughtfully curated space.

Financial Assistance

We understand that not all artists can afford even our low-cost participation fee. To make featuring art accessible to all, we offer financial assistance on a case-by-case basis. If selected artists cannot pay the fee, we may cover the cost using proceeds from the sale of our gallery tote bags. This initiative allows us to support and feature talented artists who might otherwise be unable to afford participation.
