At Bushwick Gallery, we strive to make exhibiting accessible to artists at all stages of their careers. While our fees help cover operational costs, we understand that financial barriers exist. At Bushwick Gallery, participation fees only apply to exhibitions where artworks are available for sale. These fees help support curation, installation, and promotional costs related to commercial events.
For non-commercial programs — such as residencies, solo statements, and showcase projects — there are no participation fees. These opportunities are focused on artistic presentation and creative development rather than sales.
Full Gallery Rental
- Price: $4,600
- Included Services:
- Exclusive use of the gallery space, which includes 20 spaces for works.
- A private opening event dedicated to the artist.
- The sculpture pillars can be creatively repurposed for additional displays, such as:
- Smaller pieces of art
- Artist statements or information about the artworks
- Multimedia presentations or digital art
- Commission: The gallery retains a 30% commission on all artwork sales during the exhibition.
Exhibition Duration
- Exhibitions run 7 days.
- Outside of the opening reception, artwork remains on display for 7 days, possibly more depending on the season and response.
- Viewing outside of the opening reception is by appointment only.
Opening Reception
- Time: Thursdays, 6-8 PM
- Features: A great opportunity to network and connect with art enthusiasts, collectors, and fellow artists.
