Bushwick Gallery, located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, invites artists to submit their work for our 2024-2025 exhibitions. As a vibrant space championing diverse and innovative art, we offer a unique opportunity for both emerging and established artists to showcase their work.
Our Mission
We are committed to supporting artistic growth and creating new opportunities for artists to reach broader audiences. Through carefully curated exhibitions, we celebrate the dynamic and diverse nature of contemporary art, reflecting the energy and creativity of Bushwick and the wider NYC art scene.
How to Apply
Artists from all backgrounds and mediums are welcome to submit their work for consideration. Each exhibition features a different theme and is curated by a guest curator who brings unique expertise and insight.
Submission Guidelines:
- Accepted Mediums: Painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art.
- Size Restrictions: Maximum 3.5 feet wide by 7 feet high (42 inches wide by 84 inches high).
- Submission Fee: $25 per artwork (non-refundable).
Selection Process
All submissions are reviewed by a panel of curators. Artists whose work is selected will be notified and asked to pay a participation fee of $395. Please note that while we encourage all artists to apply, selection is not guaranteed due to the high volume of submissions.
What We Offer:
- Professional Installation and promotion of selected artwork.
- Insurance Coverage up to $10,000 per piece while on the premises.
- Opening Reception invitations to our extensive mailing list of collectors and art lovers.
